Although the country is relatively small (147,181 square kilometers), 80 percent of its territory is occupied by the dramatic peaks of the Himalayas Nepal was closed to foreign visitors until 1951, a situation which contributed greatly to its mystique in the west. Nepal can be dividing into three geographical regions, each stretching from east to west across the country. The Ganges River borders to the north by Himalayan foothills and to the south the southernmost strip of land, the Terai. The area was originally covered with tropical vegetation, but has been almost completely converted to agricultural production. The trail is now the breadbasket of Nepal and is covering with farms.

The Mahabharat Chain, a range of mountains that reach modest altitudes of 2,000-3,000 meters, forms the central section of Nepal. Farming has become an important activity in the area; terraced farms produce rice, corn and wheat. The Kathmandu Valley, a stretch of green in the middle of the Mahabharata, is home to Nepal's capital and other historic cities.

Kathmandu is very Important and famous for Temples (Pashupati Nath, Tajeju Bhawani, Krishna Mandir, Kumari Temple etc.), Monasteries and Stups (Bauddha, swayambhunath, etc.), Natural Beauties (Nagarkot hill point for viewing snow caped mountains, Bhaktapur Durbarsquare, Dakshinkali etc.) and Historical Monuments and many more. Chitwan is celebrating about jungle wild life in third poll country. Lumbini is considering the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha (The Star for World Peace). Introduction to Kathmandu

Kathmandu(1400m) history dates back an impressive 2000 years. It is located centrally in Kathmandu Valley with its metropolitan area consistings of three cities: Kathmandu (Kantipur), Patan and Bhatapur. Thamel the old part of the city with quaint short and narrow streets, numerous nooks and crannies contains hotels, restaurants, offices and shops. Durbar Square, world heritage site, is important and fascinating place to visit, containing numerous Hindu temples, statutes of various Hindu deities and the palace of Kumari, the living goddess. Other important place is Pashupatinath, the biggest Hindu temple in the world, considered the most significant for Hindu followers attracting numerous pilgrims and colourful Sadus; for many Hindu it is a preferred cremation site on banks of Bagmati River. There are two significant Buddhist Gompas in Kathmandu Swayambhunath and Baudhanath, and also world heritage sites. Nagarkot, the highest hill in the range surrounding Kathmandu Valley, some 35km from the city centre offers unprecedented view on Langtang range and some of the giants beyond the range such as Annapurna, Manaslu, Cho Oyu and Shishapangma.

Introduction to Pokhara

History of Pokhara is linked with an important old trading route between China and India. In 17th centaury Pokhara was a part of very influential Kingdom of Kaski ruled by Shah Dynasty. Pokhara Valley is a home to ethnic groups of Brahmin, Gurung and Newar who are predominantly Hindu with a minority of Buddhists in particularly of Tibetan origin. It is one of the most spectacular valleys in Nepal, where two 8000m peaks Annapurna(8091m) and Dhaulagiri(8167m) raise up dramatically within 30km from Pokhara(1000m) forming incredibly picturesque vista over the Phewa Tal (lake). At Sarangkot (1680m) you will experience the golden sunrise view of Annapurna and magnificent vista of Lake Phewa and city of Pokhara. There will be optional activity of paragliding back to Pokhara on 45 minutes para-flight tandem. We also visit the amazing Bidubashini temple complex, Old Market, David’s Fall with Hindu Grotto Temple and the cave and Tibetan Buddhist monastery.

Introduction to Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National Park the first national park in Nepal formerly called Royal Chitwan National Park it was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers an area of 932 sq km and is located in the subtropical Inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal in the Chitwan district. In altitude it ranges from about 100 metres (330 ft) in the river valleys to 815 metres (2,674 ft) in the Churia Hills. The park contains rich fauna and flora including exotic and endangered Bengal Tigers, Crocodile spices, Indian Rhino and Elephants. The stay and activities inside park are organised and controlled by the rangers to ensure safety of visitors and environmental protection and include elephant bathing rituals and safaris, bird watching, jungle walks and canoeing. The park also offers informative slideshow, introduction to local culture with the Tharu traditional dance shows. The rivers feeding to Chitwan allow a number of options for spectacular rafting adventures on Seti and Treshuli Rivers.

Introduction to Lumbini

Lumbini a small town in Western Terrai plains, the birthplace of Lord Buddha has been declared by UNESCO a world heritage site due to its historical, archaeological and cultural significance. In Lumbini you will experience Buddhist spirituality and see 2500 years old archaeological site; you will travel on rickshaw to see amazing monastic area funded by Buddhist communities from many countries in the world. In accordance to Buddhist tradition Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama in 563BC, who as Buddha Gautama founded Buddhist tradition. You will see well preserved archaeological ruins under the Maya Devi temple including the marker of exact spot of Buddha’s birth as designated by Buddhist scholars. You will also see the pond next to the temple where accordance to Buddhist believes Queen Maya Devi took a ritual bath before giving birth. During times of Buddha Lumbini was a garden area, where Buddha conducted his teachings. The garden area has been restored and the antiquities have been dutifully preserved.

All Nepal Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival service from Kathmandu Airport & transfer to hotel. If time permits, we visit Kathmandu Durbar in the evening & stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Early in the morning you will be proceeded One Hour Mountain-flight toward the top of the World (Mt. Everest) which is one of the unique one in the World. From where you can view 13 Snowy caped Mountains over 8000meters high and hundreds of peaks over 6000 meters high. After breakfast, you will be taken to visit Kapan Monastery, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath and drive to Nagarkot via Bhaktapur and Overnight at the hotel with sunset viewing.

Day 03: Enjoy sunrise view from Nagarkot, stroll around the hill & drive to Bungamati via Khokna. Visit Patan Durbar -Square after lunch at the town and drive back to Kathmandu at hotel.

Day 04: Drive from Kathmandu to Kuringhat for cable car ride to Manakamana Temple and join Puja. After Puja you will be back from Temple and continue journey toward Chitwan.

Day 05-06: In Chitwan at National Park, you enjoy a full day of Wild-Life Safari activities such as: Elephant back safari, Nature walks, Canoe trip or boat ride, Jeep drive in the Deep forest, Elephant bathing, bird watching, Tharu Village tour etc. as per time permits. Trained local naturalists and guides will guide all to you. Animals and birds to be seen are rhinoceros, crocodiles, bear, monkeys, several species of deer, pythons, peacocks, hornbills, woodpeckers (amongst more than 400 species of birds recorded in the park).

Day 07: Drive from Chitwan to Lumbini (the birthplace of Lord Buddha) about six hours to observe Maya Devi temple (Maya Devi is Lord Buddha's Mother) including Ashoka Pillar and so many other Buddhism related monuments. Another important structure is the Ashoka pillar. Apart from that, Lumbini has ruins of various Stupas and monasteries.

Day 08: Early in the morning proceed to Tilaurakot for sight seeing and back. After breakfast, drive to Pokhara (915m). Drop to hotel and some hour's leisure in Lakeside for walk along the Fewa Lake.

Day 09: Early in the morning at around 5 am Drive to Sarangkot (1680m) for Sunrise view with golden mountain then full day sight seeing in around Pokhara city ( e.g.: Bindubashini Temple, Seti river, Old Market, David's Fall Tibetan Monastery ,Begnash and Rupalake) and overnight in Hotel.

Day 10: After breakfast Fewa Lake boating a couple of hours, visit Barahi Temple situated amid Fewa Lake and after Lunch Drive from Pokhara to Bandipur. Over night enjoying at lodge.

Day 11: Drive from Bandipur to Kathmandu by tourist coach takes about 5 hours and transfer to hotel. At Evening, Farewell dinner will be provided with cultural program in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Final departure or alternatively join other program.
