Annapurna Round with Base Camp Trek

It is said that Annapurna circuit/ round is one of the famous trekking route in the world.The trek around the Annapurna massif is one of the finest in the Himalayas and is regularly described as one of the top ten treks in the world. It is observed that about 64% of the trekkers who come every year in Nepal for trekking, definitely they visit Annapurna circuit. So without doubt we can say it is most famous area for trekking in Nepal. Annapurna areas have verity of beautiful things such as- landscape, culture, view of Himalaya range, river jungle and observe the difficulties of human life. Moreover after crossing the throng pass we find the Hindu’s famous temple named Muktinath. In this way we descend toward the ending point through the deepest gorge of the world which made by Kaligandaki river. Some additional day we can go Annapurna Base camp.

The trek Star from Besisahar after eight hours drive from Kathmandu, we climb along the Marsyangdi river valley. We pass beneath snow-capped Annapurna second third & forth range of 6,000m peaks stretching north to Tibet we reach highest human leaving village of Manang. We are going to have acclimatized in this village for preparation to cross a head famous and highest pass of Annapurna region trek. Throng La pass at 5416 meters to reach the holy shrine of Muktinath temple. After holy bath and puja of Muktinath temple we arrive in world famous hot spring of Tatopani via kalapani, ghasa and davawith across the Kaligandaki River. The deepest river valley on the face of the earth (7000m) deep between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalaya. We trek through a wonderful rhododendron forest on the Gorepani Ridge and the picturesque Gurung villages and then trek to Annapurna Base camp via Chhomrung, Dovan, Deurali and Machhapuchhre Bace camp. We return same lousier trail before finishing back in the Pokhara

Itinerary Details of Annapurna round with Base Camp Trek

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airporty & transfer to hotel(1350m)

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (823m.) which takes approximately six hours.

Day 03: Trek from Beshi shahar to Bahundanda (1305m) and it takes approximately six hours.

Day 04: Trek from Bahundanda to Chyamche (1430m.) which takes approximately six hours.

Day 05: Trek from Chyamche (1410m.) to Dharapani (1860m.) and it takes about six hours.

Day 06: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2670m.) which takes approximately five and half hours.

Day 07: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3100m.) which takes approximately five hours.

Day 08: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3440m.) and it takes approximately five and half hours.

Day 09: Rest day at Manang for acclimatization and hang in and around town. This is an important rest and acclimatization day today before crossing the Thorung La.

Day 10: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4350m.) and it takes approximately three and half hours.

Day 11: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4420m.) which takes approximately three and half hours.

Day 12: Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3850m.) via Thorong La (5416m) Pass and it takes approximately seven hours.

Day 13: Trek from Muktinath to Marpha (2667m) and it takes about approximately six hours.

Day 14: Trek from Marpha to Ghasa (2013m.) which takes about six hours.

Day 15: Trek from Ghasa to Tatopani (1189 m.) which takes about five hours.

Day 16: A rest day at Tatopani to enjoy the natural hot spring bath. It is believed that one who takes bath get rids of skin diseases.

Day 17: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2853 m.) for about seven hours.

Day 18: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3180m.) to Tadapani (2675m.) which takes about five and half hours. Early morning trip to Poon Hill to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, Varaha Shikhar, Mt. Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna IV, Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal and other numerous snow-capped mountain peaks.

Day 19: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong (2040 m.) which takes approximately four hours.

Day 20: Trek from Chhomrong to Bamboo (2340m.) and it takes approximately five hours.

Day 21: Trek from Bamboo to Deurali (3230m.) which takes approximately five hours.

Day 22: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4170 m.) via Machapuchere Base Camp (3820m.) and it takes approximately four hours.

Day 23: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (2630m.) which takes approximately five hours. It's much easier going down

Day 24: Trek from Dovan to Jhinudanda (1750m.) and it takes about six hours. T

Day 25: Trek from Jhinudanda to Nayapul via Biranthanti and drive from Birethanti to Pokhara by car,which takes about one hours.

Day 26: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus that takes about seven hours. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes .Overnight at Hotel

Day27: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (DurbarSquare, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath) and Nepalese cultural program with farewell dinner in the evening.

Day 28: Final departure ,or alternative Join other activities
