Dhampus Sarangkot is situated in the western part of Nepal. It is a very popular trek due to its spectacular mountain scenery; the elevation is about 1700m/5573ft. Here you will be astounded by spectacular panoramic views of Annapurna (8091m/26527ft), Manasalu (8165m/26770ft), Ganesh Himal (7446m24413ft), Dhaulagiri (8167m/26777ft), and Machhapuchare. This area also offers views of the Pokhara Valley with all its natural beauty. Sarangkot is another spot renown for observing the sunrise over the Himalayas within only a short hike. Sarangkot is also famous paragliding launching point. This trek starts from Phedi, some 7-8 hours drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara followed by 1 hour drive from Pokhara. This is a trouble-free and sweet walk in the middle hills of Nepal in the vicinity of beautiful city of Pokhara. The theme of this hike centres on the local culture and custom, fascinating hills in the heart of Nepal, extensive Pokhara valley and the white peaks of Himalayan Mountain.

Itinerary Details of Dhampus Sarangkot Hiking
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel (1350m/4426ft)
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m/2996ft); Early morning departure for 7 hours drive by tourist deluxe bus to Pokhara located 200km west of Kathmandu. Optionally you can take 25 minute flifght from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Day 03: Drive from Phedi (950m/3114ft) by car [about 1 hour]; Hike from Phedi to Dhampus(1650m/5409ft) [about 4 hours]
Day 04: Early in the morning you may watch view of Annapurna, Fishtail and Dhaulagiri and many more peaks with Sunshine (golden view); After breakfast we hike from Dhampus to Sarangkot(1720m/5639ft) via Naudanda [about 5 hours]
Day 05: In the morning you may walk-up nearby hill and watch mountain view and the beautiful view of Pokhara city, Phewa lake; After breakfast back in the hotel we hike down to Pokhara [about 3 hours]
Day 06: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus [about 7 hours] or optionally you can take 25 minutes flight to Kathmandu
Day 07: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley (Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath) followed by Nepalese cultural program with farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 08: Transfer to the airport for your return flight or alternatively join other activities.
