This package offers moderate level adventure requiring the ability to walk steep outdoor path and gain approximately 2500m over 4 days including 1500m flight elevation gain from Kathmandu to Lukla. This requires moderate level of fitness and should provide you with a good motivation for 3-6 months of moderate exercise prior to the trip.
This package includes it all; View of Everest, Annapurna, river rafting, jungle safari, optional paragliding and sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara. It is exciting, fast, action packed package.
We will take you on exciting flight to Lukla and we walk to Everest View Hotel via Namche Bazaar, an ancient trading hub for yak caravans coming from Tibet on a trading route to Nepal.
We will then travel to Chitwan for river rafting, kayaking adventure and jungle safari, where you can see, ride and play with elephants.
We visit Pokhara and offer you sightseeing there with optional paragliding adventure. We finish the trip in Kathmandu with rest day for shopping, sightseeing and a farewell diner with a traditional cultural program.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu(1400) Airport and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: We will take an exhilarating 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840) and trek slowly to Phakding (2800) to avoid high elevation complications; it will take us about 4hrs.
Day 03: Today we will trek slowly to Namche Bazaar(3446) to preserve energy for tomorrow activities and to avoid high altitude complications, it will be approximately 7 hrs walk.
Day 04: We will start activities very early today, waking-up at 5am. After breakfast we want to take 2 hrs walk to Everest View Hotel (3800) for a great vista of Everest; we will also visit Hilary museum and Sherpa museum. We will stay at Namche Bazar for the second night.
Day 05: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyngboche (3870) this takes about four hours. We will gain about 4300m of elevation but we are facing a steep and long ascend just before Tyngaboche. The walk is very rewarding with magnificent vistas especially when we reach the monastery.
Day 06: Today we have another long day but mostly downhill; we walk from Tengboche to Manjo(2808), what takes about six hours
Day 07: Today we reach Lukla (2840) in about five hours of very pleasant walk through colorful Khumbu villages.
Day 08:Today we take a scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, transfer to hotel and have rest of the day for the leisure, shopping in Thamel and discovery.
Day 09: We drive from Kathmandu along pictoreque highway down to Trishuli River Gorge to Charaundi, wher we start our 4 hrs of rafting adventure on Trishuli River. In the afternoon we change back to our vehicle for drive to Chitwan National park for jungle safari program. The safari program includes many activities conducted over two days. Park rangers will schedule all activities. We finish the day enjoying sunset over the river and a drink in the bar located at the river banks and stay overnight in the jungle resort.
Day 10: Day two of the jungle safari activities will include elephant bathing, elephant riding and the opportunity to close encounters with these magnificent and highly intelligent creatures. You will be able to come close to the elephant and interact with them including touching and patting. You will be amazed with their dexterity, gentleness and intelligence. You will be able to bathe in the river with the elephant. While riding elephants through the jungle we will hope to see rhinos, maybe tigers, dears, giant pythons and more. Rangers also arrange other activities such as nature walks, canoeing and bird watching. We will spend second night in the jungle resort.
Day 11: After breakfast we’ll take 4-5 hrs drive to Pokhara through spectacular Seti River valley. We will spend rest of the day relaxing in Pokhara at your leisure, boating on the lake and enjoying the tourist atmosphere of Pokhara tourist village. There is B/B arrangement so you will have opportunity to enjoy lunch and diner at your preferred restaurant. We will stay overnight in Pokhara Village Resort or equivalent style quality accommodation.
Day 12: Around 5am we will drive to Sarangkot (1680m) for golden sunrise and as optional activity you can return down to Pokhara on 45 minutes tandem para-flight. We’ll continue sightseeing in Pokhara for the rest of the day visiting Hindu temples at David’s Falls grotto and Bindabashini and Tibetan Buddhist monastery. Along we will also visit some spectacular nature. We will stay overnight in Pokhara.
Day 13: We will catch morning flight back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel in Thamel, with which you should be familiar. This will be a day for your shopping in Thamel and personal discoveries of interesting corners, nooks and crannies in touristy but charming Thamel. You can also stroll to nearby Durbar Square. We will conclude your Highlight Tour of Nepal with a Farewell dinner.
Day 14: After breakfast we’ll arrange transfer to the airport for your flight or alternatively you can join another tour.
