Snowy Horizon treks and expedition operate Ganja la pass trek (5106m) in autumn and spring season. Ganja La is located north of Kathmandu offers a multitude of trekking destinations. Galgala pass is an attraction pass in langtang region. In this region you may find perfect environments of rivers, forests and high soaring peaks. Gangala pass can be defined as an adventure trekking pass in Nepal Himalayas. The territory of pass is bit narrow and danger of rock falling. Trekkers must have to careful during the passing period. The crossing of the pass requires the use of technical climbing equipment and trekkers must be skilled in the use of this and be prepared.
Ganja la pass trekking starts from Sybru Bensi and ends at Melamchi Pul Bazar. From Sybru Bensi, you follow the Langtang River to the east until you get to Kyanjin Gompa (3,049 m), where there is a small Buddhist monastery and a cheese factory initiated 1955 by the Swiss Association for Technical Assistance. This trek is a great choice for nature lovers and adventurers alike.

Itinerary Details of Ganja La Pass Trekking
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel(1350m)
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Sybrubensi(1467m) Narth of Kathmandu via Dhunche village. This takes approximately nine hours.
Day 03: Trek from Sybrubensi to Lama Hotel (2470M).This takes approximately five hours.
Day 04: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang(3430m) via Ghore Tabela which takes approximately six hours.
Day 05: Trek from Lantang to Kyangjin Gomba (3870m) This takes approximately five and half-hours.
Day 06: Rest at Kyangin Gomba for acclimatization you can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m.) behind the village, for a breathtaking panorama of the Langtang peaks and back to hotel.
Day 07: Trek from Kyangin Gompa to Ngegang(4200m) This takes approximately seven hours.
Day 08: Trek from Ngegang to Keldang via Ganja la(kangja,5106m) This takes approximately six hours.
Day 09: Trek from Keldang to Dukpu (4090m) you may walk among the green forest, grassland with fantastic view of mountain. This takes approximately five hours.
Day 10: Trek from Dukpu to Tarke Ghyang(2750m), This takes approximately six hours.
Day 11: Trek from Tarke Ghyang to Sermathang(2620m) This takes approximately five hours.
Day 12: Trek from Sermathang to Melamchi Pul(850m) This takes approximately four and half hours.
Day 13: Drive from Melamchi Pul to Kathmandu (1350) via Lamidanda, which takes approximately seven hours and then transfer to hotel.
Da y14: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (DurbarSquare, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath) and Nepalese cultural program with farewell dinner in the evening.
