Hiking in Nepal

Nepal, located within the range of Himalayas and its foothills contains more then 1300 peaks between 5500m and 8848m high. Its spectacular mountainous scenery, the friendliness of its people, the history, the variety of cultures and facilities available make Nepal a very popular hiking destination and a paradise for climbers, mountaineers and hikers.

Nepal offers also a variety of day hiking with its hilly, jungle covered countryside and interesting ethnic villages and historical cities scattered around the country. Hiking in Nepal offers spectacular, almost unbelievable cinemascope views of the mountains, waterfalls, green lushy forest, and the deep valleys as well as an in-look into Nepali people's lifestyle, their art, architecture and cultural traditions . Hiking through these areas provides opportunity to meet and explore various Nepalese ethnic cultures from friendly, confident, outgoing, helpful and warm Sherpas to timid and shy ethnic communities. The ultimate joy of standing at the highest points on the earth is unforgettable.

Hiking in Nepal is a rewarding and delightful experience. The combination of awe aspiring mountains with its almost magic and paranormal landscapes, interactions with spiritual and genuine people, untouched cultures and traditions, unassuming presence of Buddhist culture and living heritage is a life changing experience for many western tourists.
Art and architecture is omnipresent in Nepal, it is like walking through an open gallery, where the art is done for the art sake not just as a product for sale. In Nepal, you will explore the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Himalayas. Kathmandu and Pokhara valleys will be the first place you’ll visit.

Kathmandu Valley contains significant world heritage sites including:
• Three Durbar squares (Kathmandu, Patan and Bhakatapur);
• Buddhist stupas and Hindu temples of Swyambhunath and Changunarayan;
• Famous Hindu temple- Pashupatinath; and
• Famous Buddhist stupa- Boudhanath.

There are many excellent spots for viewing the Himalayan ranges, including Everest, in the vicinity of Kathmandu and Pokhara. Years of experience and knowledge of our country formed the design bases for our Nepal Hiking tours. These have been carefully designed for those visitors who want to explore culture, lifestyle and the great Himalaya of Nepal and at the same time to discover themselves through these profound experiences. We take you some very important historical sites and naturally enriched Himalayan experience through these trips.
