Climbing Lobuche East peak with Snowy Horizon was a great adventure! We've been welcomed by Hari who was very helpful. Everything was well set up. Our guide did his job as we expected and he was well experienced, well professional and funny! Rishi was always answering to our multiple emails in a really fast time! Our porters took a good care of our duffle bags. Next time we go back to Nepal, we will go with Snowy again. Due to altitude sickness, we had to change our itinerary, and it hasn't been complicated at all.
The only thing we would have liked to know before buying our flight tickets are the holidays. Our shopping day in Kathmandu was a Holiday so most of the shops were closed. But we found some opened anyway. Thanks Snowy Horizon!

I would like to highly recommend Snowy Horizons to anyone who wants to book a trek or peak climb and be assured of fantastic service. I have recently returned from summiting Mt Manaslu and Snowy Horizon organised the 8 day trek in, the basecamp and climb and the 5 day trek out. I have no complaints only great praise.
After receiving a reply to my original enquiry quicker than any other company, I felt I could trust Rishi (the owner) and I wasn't dissapointed.
All the support staff were amazing, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and proffessional. Indra the chef worked hard to give us great variety so the food never became boring, Mingma the sirdar kept us informed and briefed on itinaries so I was comfortable on what we were doing at all times. The Sherpa's were the hero's especially Lakpa who guided me to the summit, giving me space to be independant but always closeby for encouragment and support.
One of the reasons I booked with Snowy Horizon is that Rishi promises one Sherpa to one climber, and this allows greater flexibility and safety. This works as many of our group were different abilities and you can go at your own pace for both acclimatisation and when your actually walking/climbing.
Its difficult to know which company to go with when there are so many advertising their services, I took the decision of booking with Rishi and made the right choice. He works hard and is very committed to making everyones holiday the best.

Snowy Horizon has provided an outstanding and complete service on my first 8000 Himalaya climb to Cho Oyu (summitted 1 Oct). This was my first solo expedition ever and I was a bit apprehensive, but Rishi and the Team have truly taken care of all aspects of my trip, so I could fully focus on the climbing. Starting with a very personal airport welcome, with great lodging in Thamel, Kathmandu, good transport and most importantly an experienced Sherpa support from Pema, who was an amazing climbing partner and support. His no-nonsense approach, good technical and physical preparation let me stand atop my first eighthousander with a true sense of security and pride. Likewise, for the basecamp service - just amazing: a mushroom pizza and cherry-topped cake after the summit at 5700meters was truly a delight. Snowy Horizon was contracted by my climbing team this fall. I climbed and use Snowy Horizon Service in Shishapangma Expedition and Yala and Naya Kanga peak. The whole crew worked extremely diligent on the mountain, did every job at their best effort and the highest quality. After the climbing trip, for some reason, I had to stay in Nepal alone for several days and had a lot of trouble with visa and airlines. Rishi and his team went out of their way to help me sort out the mess. They took good care of me during those days, made me feel home that I almost didn't want to leave!

Naya Kanga Peak Climbing 07th March-2011
I planned to climb Naya Kanga Peak in March and Snowy Horizon helped me a lot - I got a great guide who has done an impressive List of ascents of high mountains. He was a real fighter when it came to struggle against a hell lot of snow - yet we had to give in before reaching the High Camp. Anyway, this hasn't been the fault of anybody involved. I had a good time, felt safe and secure and can recommend Snowy Horizon to anybody who looks for a challenge in Nepal.

We have been Travelling Nepal already 2 times for climbing Ama dablam and Lhotse Expedition in Year 2004 and 2007. We used Snowy Horizon Expedition for Pumori Expedition. We went with some international and local companies before we found Rishi Bhandari of Snowy Horizon Manager in 2009. Comparing to all companies that I used before 2004, the quality service level, commitments and Price, we found Snowy Horizon Treks are first class and very satisfied with professional & experienced crews. All the services from Arrival day to Final departure were really wonderful.
We also compared the cost and service with other companies, but the package offer by other companies has not included all in details which we can get everything from Snowy horizon Treks.
