Climbing Lobuche East peak with Snowy Horizon was a great adventure! We've been welcomed by Hari who was very helpful. Everything was well set up. Our guide did his job as we expected and he was well experienced, well professional and funny! Rishi was always answering to our multiple emails in a really fast time! Our porters took a good care of our duffle bags. Next time we go back to Nepal, we will go with Snowy again. Due to altitude sickness, we had to change our itinerary, and it hasn't been complicated at all.

The only thing we would have liked to know before buying our flight tickets are the holidays. Our shopping day in Kathmandu was a Holiday so most of the shops were closed. But we found some opened anyway. Thanks Snowy Horizon!

“Everest Base Camp & Island Peak November 23rd – Dec 13th”

I did Everest Base Camp Trek and Island Peak Climb, a 21 day trek to Everest Base Camp, elevation 17,598 feet / 5,364 meters, and a climb of Imja Tse, better known as Island Peak, elevation 20,305 feet / 6,189m.
The trek was a wonderful adventure. Each day of trekking was inspiring, being surrounded by the spectacular views, and magnificent mountain peaks.
Snowy Horizon’s Guides, Sherpa’, porters where very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They helped make my trip a wonderful experience.

“Walking up and cycling down Annapurna, October 2011.”

It was a long time ago when me and my friends had a lively conversation about Himalaya mountains and Nepal resulting in decision to go and explore the roof of the world ourselves. Last year I started to search plane tickets for Kathmandu and a company which could provide all service there. As usually I asked Mother Google for activities in Nepal and she found for me the Snowy Horizon. Lucky us! We had three weeks of amazing adventures! Trekking arround Annapurna, getting over Thorung La (5416m) pass, cycling downhill from Muktinath to Beni, I got one leach sucked on my leg, extreme rafting in Trisuli, and relaxing three days at Chitwan National park Island Jungle resort. Awesome. This trip needs to be repeated! So we are very grateful to Rishi and his team for this unforgettable trip, for chance to see Nepal, climb mountains, meet wonderful people face to face. How touching to see the local kids putting their small dirty palms together and greeting travelers: Namaste! I found that Nepal is Never Ending Peace And Love for me. It`s true.

"We liked so much Nepal, that we have been there two times (October 2010 and April-May 2011). Kailash Mansarovar Holy Tour ( 21 April - 06 March 2011)

We found Snowy Horizon treks and expedition by Google search: treks and expedition in Nepal and they had arranged our trip in Kailash Mansarover and beautiful city pokharaTour! This is our first trip in Kailash Tibet and maybe we are the first Jordanian group who did Kailash mansarover Tour. We are very happy with Mr. Bhandari and his professional service more than we expected.Our Nepali Guide Bibek pandey and Snowy Horizon Kitchen staff is very experience and cooked every day different and delicious food for us. We have get 24 hours hot and cold drinks with other facilities.
We know how hard it is to choose someone to organize your tour when you haven't met them or experienced their work. Although we did not have a lot of time in Kathmandu we found Mr Rishi Bhandari a very capable person and had our best interests at heart. Namche Bazaar Tengbotche Trek: (15th March -04th April-2011)

Rishi Bhandari & his company, Snowy Horizon Treks and Expedition, did such a great job with our trek.  Even before we left Rishi was always responding to our many questions in a very timely manner.  We wanted to make last minute changes to our trip and they were able to customize it exactly how we wanted.   When we arrived in Kathmandu Rishi, himself, was there to show us around.  Bibek, our trek guide, stayed with us a little longer and helped us pick out any gear we didn't bring.   I had some credit card issues, and they understood I couldn't pay them right away.  I really appreciated their patience and they way the dealt with my payment issues.  As far as the actual trek and accomdations, everything went very well.  The tea houses they set up were great, and our guide seemed to be everyone's best friend on the trail.  If you are nervous or not sure you can get around in Nepal this company can help you.

Kathmandu - Pokhara -Chitwan Tour (04th April-2011)

ISnowy Horizon Treks did a wonderful and professional job in organizing our trip. All of our questions were answered in details. Tour information were also provided in details.
All the activities which were organized by Snowy Horizon Treks were done and on time; to name a few: paragliding in Sarangkot, visit to Barahi temple in Phew lake, visit and stay in Chitwan National Park, dinner with cultural program in an authentic Nepali restaurant with the "folk dance in Kathmandu".

Poon Hill trip with a difference 13 February 2011

I have climbed many mountains and travelled many exotic destinations. This was one of my most memorable experiences ever. While working in Kathmandu Rishi organized the trip to Poon Hill. The trip to Poon Hill as such is not a big deal nowadays with easy access to the trailhead by public transport and numerous facilities along the trek. No surprise as it is probably one of the most popular treks in the world culminating with world classic view of enormous Annapurna Massive and majestic Dhaulagiri towering the left to it. There are not many places in the world where you can see many giants so close. Perhaps another place like that is Concordia in Hindu Kush, where you stand in the Golden Throne of the Mountain Gods and see K2, Broad Peak G1 and G2.
We started in Pokhara and warmed up hiking to Sarangodt and proceeded from there to the village of Naudanda, where Rishi’s clan lives. I was invited to family puja and we spend 2 nights in Rishi’s family home experiencing genuine Nepali life. I was adopted as a member of the family and experienced genuine warmth and traditional celebration of Nepalese family, truly touching and unforgettable experience for a foreigner.
After 2 days of village living we caught a local bus for 40min trip to the trailhead at Tiketunga and after 8hrs we reached Gorapeni (3200m), where we stayed overnight. It was snowing heavily on previous day and the village of Gorapeni with looked like small Swiss hamlet 50 years ago without any cars.
In the morning we climbed up to Poon Hill (3600m) for stunning sunrise views of Annapurna Massive and Dhaulgiri. It took us 6hrs to get back to the trailhead and after 6hrs in the chauffer driven car we returned back to Kathmandu along extremely busy but also extremely scenic Pokhara-Kathmandu road.

Annapurna View Trek Paragliding and Rafting Tour- 19 November 2010

We booked with Snowy Horizon Treks & Expeditions not knowing what to expect. They had offered us the most competitive price and since we were looking for a budget holiday, we accepted Mr Rishi Bhandhari's offer. Everything was uphill since then. He proved to be a most hospitable host, and was generous with his time and understanding; as novice first time trekkers, we didn’t know what to expect, but at his end the arrangements were impeccable and could not be faulted. He was prompt and precise in guiding us about the arrangements and requirements. Given that we were a group of four girls, Mr Bhandari opted to come with us because he wanted to ensure we leave with only good experiences of his country. We went on the Annapurna Poonhill 4-day Trek, during which we also went white water rafting and Paragliding, and he was able to make arrangements at the last minute. At all times, he was attentive, willing to alter our itinerary according to however we wanted; but most importantly, he allowed us to pace ourselves at a rate at which we would enjoy our trek. Most commendable was how well prepared he was with everything; be it first aid equipment (which we fortunately didn’t need) or his quick wits to get us aboard our kathmandu flight when it had been delayed by 6 hours from pokhara. The lodges which Mr Bhandari had chosen for us were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed a lot with his group (including our two porters Siva and Nimal) - they were a bunch of high energy young men each with a great sense of humor - which comes in very handy when you are trekking for the first time, as we were.
He is a young budding entrepreneur and we strongly recommend him and his expertise should you be planning a trip to Nepal. To Mr Bhandari we wish him the best of luck.

Gokyo Lake Trek, Pokhara and Jungle safari Tour-28 November 2010

We are really appreciated with Mr. Rishi Bhandari and thank you very much for the perfect organization of our Nepal trip. It was better than expected and we enjoyed every things you recommended and planned fur us! Our guide + Porter for the trekking to Gokyo Re we are very experience helpful and friendly. We had I lot of fun together, we always stayed in clean and nice rooms/Lodges. Although there was flight cancelation for several days you managed that we can fly on time. Gokyo Re was one of the best experiences we had in our life time. Everest View Short Trek - 12 November 2010

We had a lovely experience with Snowy Horizon Treks in Nepal. We did Namche bazaar and Everest View Pony trek with them. We were extremely happy with your service before, after and during the trek. Big thank you to Mr. Bhandari our awesome trekking guide who looked after us so well and tended to our every need, we have no hesitation in recommending your company to my family, friends and any Visitor. The whole team was fantastic, so helpful and service minded. Due to bad weather and our small time we chatter a helicopter from Lukla to Kathmandu to catch our next day flight but Mr. Bhandari maintain all the things smoothly and so quickly we are really impressed with his personality. The photos we took during the trip are spectacular and the experience is something I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you for making our trip so wonderful and we look forward to visiting Nepal again in the near future. I should also mention that the cultural activities organized by Rishi Bhandari. We were also very interesting and for anyone thinking about going to have any trip in Nepal we have to say that you should definitely do it, it is a once in a lifetime trip that you will never forget.

Namche Bazaar Trek and Chitwan National Park Tour - 05 October 2010

We booked two trips with snowy Horizon. Both were last minute and both turned out to be fun.
Trek to Namchee Bazaar:- Bishwa was our guide and he provided us with a porter-Bhim. We strongly recommend booking guide and a porter as you will not be able to enjoy the trip as much without one. Bishwa arranged everything for us from all the meals to accommodations. He always made sure we were very satisfied. Thanks to him the trip was very enjoyable and worry free, we were just concentrating on taking pictures, enjoying the wonderful views and learning local culture. Our biggest problem was to get Bishwa to loose a card game, it only happened once. It was great to have Bishwa as our guide; he was able to explain us the local customs and traditions, also thought us some Nepalese language!!!

We highly recommend Snowy Horizon Treks and Expedition, this was our first trip in Nepal and if we come again we will only book our trip with them.
Chitwan : This was a much shorter trip, it was only two nights / day and a half of activities. Snowy Horizon booked us with Parkland Hotel which is probably the nicest resort there outside the park. The room was very clean and modern with A/C, there was a generator in case of power outage.

The Hotel arranged for all the meals and activities including a canoe ride and an elephant ride which were the highlights of this trip.

Everest Base Camp and Kalapather Trek -Autumn 2009

We have very much impressed with Mr. Bhandari when we met him in Kathmandu Airport with his personnel and Wel-come us in Nepal with his open heart. We had three wonderful weeks in Nepal with ceramal guide and possessor of Snowy Horizon Treks & Expedition Mr. Rishi Bhandari. We were the first Clients of this company but we never be aware of that Snowy Horizon is newly established Company. We feel proud to describe the experiences owned by ourselves with Mr. Bhandari and his company. We have been trekking Everest base camp area with Mr. Bhandari, which had organized by his company and he was being our guide. It was unforgettable vacation for us although a bit hard. We feel so lucky to have guide like him for our first adventure in Nepal.

We had not forget the detail information given by Snowy Horizon about whole treks in the Everest base camp and Katmandu Valley sight seen .Beside, the program of Chitwan national park was also the great . We would like to thank Mr. Bhandari once again to have awesome trip!We can say with out any hesitation that the services of Snowy Horizon Treks and Expedition were fantastic. All the arrangements went very smoothly since we arrived and until departure from Kathmandu Airport, though we have to wait an hour for our luggage to pick up. Manaslu Circuit (larke La Pass) Trek - Spring 2009

In July 2010 we have done a trekking in Nepal (Manaslu Circuit).
After long time inquiries and Communication, We booked our holiday’s trip with Snowy Horizon Treks in Nepal.  Being a traveler we have been very careful in selecting a porter guide to accompany during this trek. We booked Deepak Chhetri through Snowy Horizon Treks and we couldn't have made a better choice.
Mr Bhandari is a very kind, respectful and honest person who speaks and understands good English, Germany and Spanish as well. During the trek he took care of everything necessary and was a true addition to the experience. Being from the area he gave us lots of information and knew so many people along the route. I found it much easier to get in touch with the local people with Nepali Guide by our side, and there hasn't been a moment that we didn't feel safe. Besides that, Guide form Snowy Horizon has a very pleasant personality and is very funny to be around. I could truly recommend Snowy Horizon Treks to any single or group, traveler. All guesthouse owners, and other trekkers and porters/guides we met along the way enjoyed his company.

Gokyo and Everest base Camp Trek - Spring 2009

We did the gokyo and EBC trek with Snowy Horizon Treks and our guide Me Chandra. We have good things to say without any hesitation that Mr Bhandari and his Company Team is very professional in tourism industry. Chandra was profession trekking guide for us in Nepal. He explains and suggest next day program in one day before. He was knowledgeable funny easy going and spoke many languages, He was always careful to face our trek as we could handle and be happy and was flexible.
