Langtang Region Trek

Langtang lies to the north of Katmandu near the Tibetan border. The Langtang valley is also called "the valley of glaciers". The region holds mountain peaks such as the Langtang Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Langshisa, and Gonja La Pass. The scenic holy village of Tarkegyang is famous in the region.

Off the Beaten Trail Trek

Off the beaten trail will give you the opportunity to experience mountains and cultures where the special permit is required to do this trekking. Normally in these routes we need to do a camping trek, As no lodge or tea houses on this route. In October 1991 the Government of Nepal announced the opening of some restricted area. You can't trek alone in this restricted area, you should be at least 2 people in the group.

Wilderness Area Trek

These treks are suitable for serious trekkers who dare to venture “the road less traveled”. As the name suggests these treks lead you to remote regions of Nepal requiring self motivation during the entire trip. These long duration treks covering routes of high elevation are physically demanding. Yet, as the adage goes the fruit of labor is always sweet, so is yours.

Short / Easy Trekking in Nepal
