During our work experience in the high Altitude Mountain we have discovered that often the correct information about Nepal, history, culture, Mountain and other important details are lacking in the Travel Industry.
Our Guide:
A good guide can enrich your trekking and Tours experience in many ways. A part from showing you the trail, he explains you about the area, place, mountains, temples, culture, geography, local floras and faunas, teach you the Nepali language, introduce you to locals, share culture and festivals, run ahead and secure lodging in the busy season, help out with your backpack if you are struggling, and be helpful in a bad situation, look after logistics - like registering your details in every check post, organizing your transport weather you go by bus or plane, liaising and directing the porter, etc. A licensed guide licensed through a month long training session held by TAAN and Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel management (NATHAM) every year and instructs in a variety of subjects including first aid, altitude sickness and other important issues and must have a certain level of English fluency determined in an interview.
Our Guides are experienced and are highly skilled in all aspects of Tourism and trekking. All of our Guides have a Government License Holder, which you will see displayed in our office. The Guides employed by the Snowy Horizon Trekking Company are people with a proven track record of honesty and personal integrity. Our Guides speak excellent English as well as other languages including Italy, German, and Spanish, French, Japanese and others.

- All of Our Trekking and Tour Guides have a Government License.
- We provided first aid Medical Kit treading to each Guide.

- Our guide will manage all the practical aspects of your trek and tour.
- Training undertaken by each Guide addresses such issues as; First Aid, Eco Trekking and Tourism, Altitude/Mountain Sickness and how to deal with it, and Rescue Protocol.
- Our Guides speak excellent English as well as other languages including Spanish, French, Japanese, Germany and others. We supply you as per your request and desire before departure.

Our Porters:
All of our Porters are from the mountain regions of Nepal and have been working in the Trekking field for many years. They will carry your luggage, food and other necessary items in a safe and secure way. They are careful to maintain your belongings in good condition, protecting them against wet conditions, sharp rocks and other potential hazards. Our porters are honest, and proud of their personal integrity. Because they are mountain folk, their heritage is an honest, and proud of their personal integrity. They are always keen to join in singing and dancing at the end of the day, and this always brings a smile and laughter, it creates an environment of fun and enjoyment for you to participate in if you wish.
