Western Bhutan tour is main tourist hub among the country. When you fly from Kathmandu your discovery begins with breath taking views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, and the sacred Mountains of Chomolhari and Jichu Drake. Bhutan is a rugged, mountainous country with great extremes of climate. Thick forests grow on the rain-drenched southern slopes of the mountains. It is extremely hot in the low foothill regions and extremely cold in the Great Himalaya. The flight into Bhutan is one of a kind giving you a taste of the adventurous Bhutanese people taking you as close as u can ever get to the Himalayan mountain ranges. On arrival, you will be received by our representative guide from Snowy Horizon Treks and will head to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
After exploring the Paro and Thimpu's craft centers dzongs, and over the Dochu La to top at Bhutan's ancient capital of Punakha where the great Punakha Dzong stands at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mho Cho Rivers. Contining westwards we visit the alpine the alpine valley of Bhobjika where we will visit the Gangtey Gompa and then on to Trongsa and then to Jakar, Bumthang's main village. This is Bhutan's most sacred valleys, hallowed 1,200 years ago by the visits of Padmashambava the great Buddhist guru also knows as the Guru Rimpoche.

Itinerary Details of Bhutan Cultural Tour
Day 01: Flight from Kathmandu or Delhi to Paro Transfer to thimphu Hotel.
Fly from Kathmandu to Paro by Buddha or Druk Air and Transfer to Thimpu. During the Flight Duration you will have great opertunatly to see left hand side of the plane breath taking views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and other famous Himalayan peaks, including the sacred Mount Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake in Bhutan. When you arrive in Paro our representative will be pick up you from paro airport after immigration formalities and baggage arrival. Our representative transfers you to Thimphu, the modenn capital town of Bhutan which is 55Km far from Paro. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.
Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing and explore in Thimpu Valley
After breakfast, you will be process to sightseeing in Thimphu valley including visit National Library, housing an extensive collection of priceless Buddhist manuscripts; Later visit Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, a fascinating testimony of the Bhutanese material culture and living traditions. After lunch service in Thimpu we process to visit King's Memorial Chorten continuously circumambulated by people, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels. Then, visit the government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts shops.Evening drive past Trashichhoedzong, “fortress of the glorious religion”. After City sightseeing transfer to same hotel.
Day 03: Drive from Thimphu to Paro via Dochu- La pass Explore in City
After breakfast, we drive you Thimphu to Paro via Dochu-la pass (3,088m) to take in the view and admire the chorten, mani wall, and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road. If skies are clear, you may see Masagang, Tsendagang, Terigang, Jejegangphugang, Kangphugang, Zongphugang peak from on the waybefore arrive to Paro you may visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the country built in 1627. In the evening you may explore around mini street in paro and overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Full Day Sightseeing and explore in Paro Valley
After breakfast visit Ta Dzong, originally built as Watchtower, which is houses National Museum in Paro. After Ta Dzong you visit Rinpung Dzong, meaning which has a long and fascinating history. After lunch, drive to Drukgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress where Bhutanese warriors fought Tibetan invaders centuries ago. The snowy dome of sacred Chomolhari, "mountain of goddess'' can be seen in all her glory from the approach road to the Dzong. You may take a short stop at Satsam Chorten for a view of famous Taktsang Monastery. You also explore 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by Tibetan King, Songtsen Gampo. Evening at same hotel
Day 05: Final Departure or alternatively join other program
After early breakfast at the hotel, drive to the airport for flight to your onward destination. Our representative will help you with exit formalities in Paro airports.
